Refund Policy
Journal of Accounting & Business Archive Review (JABAR) is committed to providing high-quality research and publication services to the academic community. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise that necessitate a refund request. This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds will be considered for JABAR submissions.
1. Eligibility for Refunds:
- Article withdrawal before peer review: Authors can withdraw their submitted article before the peer-review process begins and receive a full refund of the article processing fee.
- Article withdrawal after peer review: If an article is withdrawn after the peer-review process has commenced, a 50% refund of the article processing fee will be granted.
- Rejected articles: Authors whose articles are rejected after peer review are not eligible for a refund. The peer-review process involves significant time and effort from expert reviewers, and even rejected articles benefit from this valuable feedback.
- Technical issues: In the rare case of technical issues with the submission system that prevent authors from completing their submissions, a full refund will be granted.
2. Refund Process:
- To request a refund, authors must submit a written request to the JABAR editorial office, clearly stating the reason for the request and providing the relevant details of their submission (e.g., manuscript ID, author names).
- Refund requests will be reviewed by the JABAR editorial team within 10 business days. The decision of the editorial team will be final and binding.
- Refunds will be processed within 30 business days of the approval of the request. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the article processing fee.
3. Exceptions:
- JABAR reserves the right to deny a refund request at its discretion if the request is deemed to be fraudulent or if the reason for the request does not fall within the scope of this policy.
