Copyright and Publishing Rights
1. Copyright
- All articles published in the Journal of Accounting & Business Archive Review are protected by copyright. The copyright for all published articles is held by the Journal of Accounting & Business Archive Review (JABAR).
- Authors retain non-exclusive copyright ownership of their published articles. This means that authors retain the right to reprint their articles in other publications, provided that the original publication in JABAR is properly cited.
2. Publishing Rights
- Authors grant JABAR the exclusive right to publish their articles in the journal and in any digital or print formats derived from it.
- Authors agree not to submit their articles to any other publication while their article is under review at JABAR.
- Once an article is accepted for publication, authors will be asked to sign a copyright transfer agreement that formally assigns the publishing rights to JABAR.
3. Author Self-Archiving
- Authors are permitted to deposit their articles in institutional repositories or on personal websites after a 12-month embargo period following publication in JABAR.
- When self-archiving articles, authors must include a link to the original published article in JABAR and a statement that the article is protected by copyright.
4. Open Access Option
- Authors can choose to publish their articles under an open access license. This means that the article will be freely available to everyone online without a subscription.
- Authors who choose to publish their articles under an open access license will be required to pay an article processing charge (APC).
